Then there were going to be 'war crimes' all over Iran causing the usual Democrat/Tucker Carlson/Never Trumpers to go off like chimps on crack. Meantime, let's get on with life.
Reviewing today's Comments in the NYT and WaPo is further proof that the overwhelming majority of Democrats actually wanted Iran and Hezbollah to prevail against the U.S. and Israel. It's now becoming quite apparent that the only cure for TDS among the "No Kings" crowd is the election of Gavin Newsom.
A lot can happen in two weeks. While many talk about Iran's rearming, it may pay to consider Trump's rethinking, rearming and retaliations during and after these two weeks, as well. He may be preparing for a more swift victory while keeping the stock market and oil prices intact.

I woke up this morning with that usual sense of dread I get every time I log on to Twitter. What now? Trump had sent out a Truth Social post, and there was mass hysteria exploding in all directions online.
It was Gerard Baker and Chris Cuomo. It was the Democrats and many of the newly anti-Trump MAGA Right. The tweets were coming fast and furiously as the “for you” algorithm dumped more into everyone’s feed. The panic was everywhere. This was finally it! Trump was going to drop a nuke! He was going to wipe out an entire civilization!

It seems that this pattern plays out often, and yet, they never seem to stop themselves from reaching the mass hysteria flashpoint. And of course, as expected, a Deus ex Machina in the form of a Truth Social post by Trump announcing a two-week ceasefire.
Instantly, the Democrats and the disgraced podcasters tried to save face by flipping it back to Trump, saying he lost the war to Iran and that he was “TACO” (Trump Always Chickens Out).
So Iran offered the cease-fire options a while back, but now Trump is agreeing to them, making it seem as a win, even though it was on the table some time back. The good news is that the fighting has stopped, however, it depends on if Israel will agree to the terms of the cease-fire and, Israel, again, could drag the US into this conflict.
Overall, based on how all of this has played out, as America turns 250 this year, is this the country our forefathers would be proud off? Using propaganda to call it a win when it’s what Iran wanted. Going to war on a country that never attack us — and spending billions while the people suffer?
