It’s Shriner on TFP payroll.

Who cares what she has to say it write.

Only her and her publisher and TFP who should stay out of book reviews.

But they get a commission if you buy her book.

"The narrow meaning is this: “Learn to code” was terrible advice."

It was never meant to be advice. It was meant as an insult.

Why does Vonn’s injury get press while Breezy Johnson’s gold get ignored? I know Vonn is more well known, but c’mon!

I do watch football and this was the most boring one in ages.

One team so dominated the other the announcers even had to suggest some ideas

Good for the Seahawks

The Olympics is supposed to be about excellence in sports.

I don’t watch it anyhow because it is BORING.

Who gives a S who outside is endorsing.

She is a hasben ?sp. and needs to go back to SF and clean up the homeless crime ridden place that was once the most beautiful city in the US.

England is a country in decline.

They don’t have any clue what to do with their economy, migrants, inflation, protesters,

Bring back George and let him tax the whole place.

Harvard is the bastion of antisemitic ideologies whose business is not to educate but to brainwash their students to think exactly as the head of the university wants it to.

And then pay over 100000 $ to listen to their BS.

Have no idea of the pentagon and their rules and know one really knows what woke means nowadays and think heathseth and the pentagon need to define exactly what they are implying.

Was the Super Bowl played yesterday? Shucks, missed it again.

"We made Suzy Weiss watch both."

Damn, that was cruel...

I could have bet money on her opinions being what they were. I think I have landed that "culture " columms written by a youngster are written for the youngster audience. Boring travesties and I feel bad that anyone would spend their life following that ______________. I would ask Suzy fill in the blank. Like a test. What do you do Suzy?

I am of the age that my favorite bands were The Who, and later, Pink Floyd and Rush. Sadly, as the old say goes, you can never go home. Modern Pop is awful, but neither do I want to watch aging rock stars doing poor renditions of themselves to profit from nostalgia. Modern Country music is just Pop with a twang, but I have found Bluegrass and what they call "Newgrass" to be rather refreshing.

After all of the Bad Bunny sound and fury, I found it fitting that the actual game that was the real attraction was a total snoozer. Admittedly, I never watch the halftime, show as I find most pop-culture painfully inane; however it felt like schadenfreude that the idiots that tuned into the game for the controversy were treated to the worst NFL game of the year.

Another boring Super Bowl? Shocking! lol

My wife watched some of the halftime show, though we skipped the actual game just checking the score from time to time. While she was watching I turned up my computer speakers so I didn't have to hear it, lol. I'm sure it was good and professional and many people loved it. I just haven't ever seen a Super Bowl halftime show that appealed to me, for the same reason as you (most pop-culture is painfully inane).

I understand BB proclaimed love over hate. I must ask if FALN was a love based organization. Sort of like Antifa or The Weatherman. Or is one side's hate good , well because. Any readers out there who have been told "I hate you because of how you voted." Full disclosure can be a bitch

"FUCK ICE" sounds like love over hate.

Yes but you need the proper translator

I missed the super bowl. Did the halftime show include subtitles?

You missed a lot of crotch grabbing...

I am shocked. That's a set up for a great joke but I will hold my powder

The most important and newsworthy story of all is the effective death sentence given to Jimmy Lai by the world’s #1 dictatorship. Here's a headline WAPO might publish: HONG KONG: WHERE FREEDOM AMD JOURNALISM DIE IN BLINDING SUNLIGHT

I thought the scariest AI ad was Ferris Bueller walking around and laying all the workers off.

My thought exactly!

I'll relook in July but between now and then we are on the road almost non-stop so I'll be cutting back.

For the most part great commenters on on here yourself included.

The Bueller ad was just plain creepy.

The big thing is we need sanity in the comments.

If an Olympian is hurt and clearly cant compete, doesn't the coach pull the athlete and replace them with a stand-by? I assume nobody wanted to be the one to break the news to Vonn.
