This was a fabulous game the pitch reflected phenomenal courage on both sides of the ball. I believe the penalty that negated the Egyptian gold Inectous clearly a miss adventure such a beautiful long run to the Argentinian goal should not have been brought back for something that happened maybe a minute before. My kudos to Egypt for an excellent performance and my kudos to the African soccer teams that gave us wonderful sport, the Egyptian team, Cape Verde, and many more showed great courage and resilience. The World Cup has truly been wonderful to watch. I particularly liked the kaleidoscope of skin colors that were on each team showing this is truly a world sport. The only dark spot in my opinion is Trump‘s attempt to influence the outcome. Perhaps this signals the sidelining of Vance and his unhelpful (some would say malign) influence on our prosecution of the war. We haven't dealt with a foe this fanatical since the Japanese.
