WaPo Headline seeks to justify the actions of the ISIS terrorist who killed an Old Dominion college student claiming he was avenging the death of family members killed in Lebanon by the IDF. Can anyone imagine the WaPo (along with NYT, CNN and MS NOW) during WW II justifying the killing of German, Italian and Japanese Americans because the U.S. was at war with their native countries. Think about it.......that is the liberal excuse justifying the attacks on American Jews because of Israel's actions against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.
Writing what I'm about to write on TGIF seems redundant, but here it goes. To those on left who claim their generic anti-Zionism stance isn't anti-semitism are either lying or oblivious. Attacks on Jews outside of Israel clearly display that there is little difference between the two. Further, the fact that Muslims are largely behind these attacks is a fact progressives cannot seem to acknowledge without some apology -- "We're against all forms of ethnic violence, including Islamophobia," even when none of that has been exhibited. I won't let the right-wing off the hook, but they don't try to make the distinction; they just hate Jews. Our leaders should speak up and loudly so, but they don't. Their cynical calculation is that there are more anti-semites in the country who they need in their voting block...left and right. The NYT had a headline about the attack in Michigan...."Temple Israel Was Founded in 1941, Dedicated to the Formation of a Jewish State." Really? Maybe they started to serve Jews and also felt a Jewish state was a good idea, given that it opened at the start of the process that killed six million Jews. Like, yeah, a safe haven might not be such a bad idea. The reporter who wrote that should be fired. But when you have even the NYT trying to somehow justify the attack, Jews and any friends of Jews have to cringe. I'm cringing anyway.
Please also track generalized terrorist violence in the US. Although there will be *significant* overlap - your readers should also be able to access numbers on the larger trend - because noone else is doing it! I live in NYC and most of my world is non-Jewish. Because many of my friends follow msm and do not read Jewish affinity sources they are wholly unaware of recent terrorist attacks across the US.
Just One Example: On *Thursday* most felt ‘details were still slowly pouring out’ about the nature of the previous Sunday’s ISIS attempted bombing near the City mayoralty’s residence!!! And their msm-inspired ignorance is putting *all* of us at risk.
If the war in Iran is won it will be due to the technological brilliance of the Israelis. FYI about 20 years ago a friend of mine told me that Putin, who hates jews, allowed those with even 10% of jewish blood, to leave Russia. As Israel had an open door policy they emigrated there. I recall meeting a woman working in the cosmetic section of the old Robinsons in the valley. If the word JEWISH was on your passport she told me, you could not get a job, no matter how many degrees, in Russia. So, Putin's antisemitism was the best thing that ever happened to Israel as they received doctors, engineers, scientists and quickly rose to achieve technological genius. I even recall 60 Minutes doing a special on AI before we knew what it was and it began in Israel. So, one man's curse is another man's genius.
We need to start rounding up the Allahu Akbar crowd and ship them back to where they came from. The synagogues I attend are relatively safe, but in this day and age, who knows what some lunatic is going to do?
Jews will argue endlessly with each other about who is right and who is wrong, and what should and shouldn't be done, etc.
When was the last time you saw five or 10 Prominent Muslim imams, leaders, clerics, step up to a microphone and as a group, denounce Muslim terrorist attacks? I don't recall seeing anything like this, ever. Silence may not be violence, but clearly there is tacit approval among a vast majority of Muslims about these types of terrorist attacks, And that's a huge problem.
If the supposed majority of Muslims are the peaceful ones, why are they not decrying what's happened in the last few days in New York City, in Virginia and in Michigan? Don't expect anything to change for the better, as long as the supposed peaceful Muslims refuse to speak out against the violent ones.
