Last Thursday, The Free Press’s inaugural Supper Club brought more than 2,000 subscribers together in 28 cities across three countries. Missed out on the fun? Tickets for July are available.
I wish you all continued success and courage to persevere This is amazing !
Just strangers talking and getting to know each other as we did when we were Freshmen and women in Colleges far from Home.. Or newly married brides In Eurasia making their home with In laws far from their Birthplace- or in the USA Gen X Y Z young men doing the same
Boston’s North End, one of my favorite areas, is the only neighborhood in the city where an intellectually-diverse group of people can get together to have honest, challenging conversations without speaking in hushed tones. It’s a “safe space,” if you will. I’m sorry I missed the dinner, but I’m glad the evening was a success.
Huge success, Olga. Thanks for driving. Evenings of clever conversation (and consumption) with well-read and charmingly unabashed people. The only social medium worthy of attention.
So disappointing they’re all on the same date! Why not mix it up? Many would go to other neighborhoods or cities to participate more than once a month.
This is so good to read about. Particularly people not being afraid to broach topics that they normally have to tip toe around. Nice to see openminded and informed people meeting up.
How do I know if there's 1 in my area?
Impressive!
After experiencing the unbridled joy from the Tartan Army last week I am all in for July
It’s ok to point out the elephant in the room. Most people who attend these dinners, me included, lean right, with many of those former Liberals.
When are you coming to Europe and South Africa?
Brain trust idea.

Could we have one on Curacao? Or I am the only reader here.
Fantastic idea! Attended Dumbo dinner in Brooklyn. Reinforced that TFP readers are the BEST! Can't wait for next one in July!
I am thrilled you are doing this! Just love the idea of stimulating conversations! You’re the best!

Was compost in attendance anywhere?

I love, love this idea and hope to attend a dinner this year!
