No mention of the fact that Hilary Cass of the Cass Report gave her first US interview in Boston yesterday. Shameful, since TFree Oress was at the forefront of breaking the transing of minors scandal by publishing the whistleblowers! Why did TFP back off this huge important story when maximal public pressure is needed to force the government to stop this industry that sterilizes kids?.

Two days in a row about RFK’s brain it was a non story the first time

Biden betrayed Israel in a public and despicable manner.Congress passed the aid bill ( that Biden tied Ukraine aid to Israel aid as the only way to force Congress to give more aid to Ukraine), then he withholds the weapons to ally Israel who is facing terrorist existential threats on every border???The anti Israel power ppl in this White House is calling the shots.

The US can’t be trusted

Expand full comment

The US government can't be trusted. Because it is run by the DNC and its operatives in the Deep State.

Thanks for pointing out the Hillary Cass interview. I totally missed it and just downloaded it to watch later.

Why is TFP giving us Tom Brady's roast (sorry, and you can call me Karen, but I do not equate vulgarity with fun!) and Lonely Hearts to the exclusion of major, important news stories such as Disa has pointed out.

And yes, I know I can scroll past the fluff I have no interest in...but there comes a point where I am scrolling past half the content and have to realize that TFP is no longer what I thought it intended to be.

Expand full comment

It is becoming more and more like the Lifestyle section of newspapers of old.

Expand full comment

At this point I think we all need to come to terms with this. A fair chunk of TFP is the gossip section. Suzie and Nellie both seem to like to focus on it. Nellie in particularly takes even serious stories and makes them more like gossip. I think it is just the tone they have decided on.

Expand full comment

When I became a paid subscriber there was less of the fluff/gossip. This recent shift is not something with which I want to "come to terms". Heading for the exit is something I would prefer not to do---the comments section is almost worth the price of admission!---but I am receiving less return on my investment. And that is no small thing...

In the article about the KKK son. TFP said, "Former KKK poster boy and son of a former Grand Wizard has whipped off his white hood to reveal that THEY are now transgender."

Has TFP embraced to the PC/Woke gender neutral, grammatically incorrect use of pronouns just to suck up to the insane left?

That TFP would cave to this insanity not only disappointed me, it really shocked me. If you have male genitalia you are a man and no matter what shade of lipstick you put on, you are still a man and always will be one.

I have said in the past, what consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business but they do not have the right to force me to use goofy pronouns.

I disagree polecat. There is nothing wrong with giving someone respect and addressing them in the way they prefer. Would you call me a man?

Biologically you are a man. If you want, In deference to you, I will call you she but I will not call you they.

Expand full comment

Okay, so what is wrong with the fp showing deference to this person? Do you have any idea how hard it must have been for them to transition? I grew up in a very conservative Christian family, and while they are far from the KKK, it was really hard. I lost all support from them. I could not imagine how hard that was for them. Do you think I need you to remind me that I was born a biological man? What do you get out of refusing to call them by they? What do you get out of pointing out that I am a biological man for that matter?

Expand full comment

Ava, I am sympathetic to you. It is just me. I can't bring myself you use they or them. It grates on me. If we were having a beer together, I would be more than happy to call you she.

I cannot begin to imagine how hard this has been for you. I would treat you with respect and never denigrate you, but I won't call you they.

1- protecting these very troubled kids from sterilization and butchery

2- Revealing how ruthless the WOKE ideologues are, that lie and use and harm anyone to further their insanity.

3- Reveal how medical schools and the American medical associations are already captured by DEI WOKE. It is lowering the bar for excellence in Medicine for the racist goal of “ equity of outcomes”

Who is pressuring TFP to stay silent ?

The Tablet’s account of the network of dark, subversive domestic terrorist groups bankrolling campus protests deserves a Pulitzer. Instead The NY Slimes gets the trophy for its myriad stories on Oct 7, a submission that inexplicably omitted its strongest piece on Hamas’s use of rape as a weapon of terror.

Here are two excerpts from the Tablet story:

“Climate Justice Alliance (CJA), an umbrella group for more than 80 “community organizations,” including the Grassroots Global Justice Alliance, which organized an illegal anti-Israel protest in the Capitol Rotunda in December at which more than 50 activists…”

“Many of the professional agitators involved in lawbreaking are quite literally on the payroll of big-city political machines, or provide important services such as get-out-the-vote organizing and phone banking during low-turnout Democratic primaries…”

Two paragraphs into the piece, all I could think was “RICO.” I won’t hold my breath. Why did/does the FBI tell the world right-wing extremists are our greatest domestic threat? Why did/does Justice so doggedly pursue 1/6 “insurrectionists”? Why has Fanni Willis thrown RICO at Trump? One can only surmise they’re easy targets. To go after the real terrorists is to go after their own peeps and ultimately lead to the collapse of the entire Democrat machine.

Not surprised by Bowman. Watched him at the hearing on antisemitism yesterday and it was all he could do to run interference for those who want to commit genocide against Israel. In his book its Islamophobic (meaning needs to be banned) to question the misogyny surrounding the hijab, but it's ok to call for ethnic cleansing of Jews. Oh and he hates the act defining antisemitism because it actually defines antisemitism...(but then Schumer has tabled the legislation because it might offend the antisemites of the DNC)...And Bowman wonders why in Westchester county he is 19 points behind Latimer. The scary thing is that he still has people voting for him.

Biden has never actually been a friend of Israel. This is not the first time he threatened Israel to withhold aid only this is the only time he has the power to do so , if Congress doesn't step in.

Maybe someone should remind Biden of what Begin said when he threatened to cut off aid to Israel:

"Don't threaten us with cutting off aid to give up our principles, I'm not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid."

All the pablum that Biden said about the Holcaoust means jackshit if he tries to keep Hamas alive. Yeah, the Left loves dead Jews, it's the living ones, the ones who fight back that are hated.

Think of it. Biden wants to keep alive Islamist barbarians whose target in the long run is actually the destruction of the US, who sides with the axis of evil (Russia, China, Iran). Does he think that they won't try October 7th here if they get the chance? Whether you care about Israel or not, Biden is saving an enemy sworn to destroy the US. How is that living up to his oath of office?

On your profile page there’s your name, any description of yourself you’ve provided, and below that the words “Follow”, “Message”, and then a square with 3 dots inside. If you click on the 3 dots, a drop down menu gives me, for example, several options on how to deal with you. I can mute you, report you, block you, etc.

If I hit “block” a message to me appears telling me that if I block you, you will no longer be allowed to respond to anything I post and you won’t be allowed to mention me in anything you post. Then it asks me if I still want to block you.

Fun fact: if you want to stop someone from “following” you, just block them for about a minute, then unblock them. The blocking removes them from your “followers” but unblocking them doesn’t restore them as a “follower”. Do it fast enough and they’ll never know you removed them as a follower. They may eventually figure it out, but then just wash, rinse, and repeat.

Uri Berliner’s piece was a well written story that needed to be publicized. But people should realize that it is the viewpoint of one individual. Many employees and former employees have commented on this piece with most both backing some aspects of Berliner’s piece while criticizing others. Having publicized the original piece, and keeping us informed of the House’s summoning of Maher to testify and her not showing up, TFP has been silent about the views of others atr NPR. Why? TPF stated that NPR said Maher didn’t show up due to a previously scheduled Board meeting - and let it hang there as if it were bogus. Well was there a Board meeting? That should be an easily verified and factual matter. Why didn’t TPF verify this? If there was such a meeting, then Maher and NPR should have told the House to reschedule. Did they?

The Berliner piece was what made me subscribe to TPF. Their Mission Statement is why I became a paid subscriber. After a couple of weeks of reading I have a sinking feeling that the Mission Statement pure marketing BS.

My report on what’s behind Biden’s betrayal of Israel.

Biden is fed propaganda by National Security CouncilDirector for Intelligence, Maher Bitar, Palestinian American who was President of SJP and UNRWA employee( Hamas affiliated organizations). Bitar hid Biden’s betrayal for a few days to monitor IDF activity in Rafa and to allow Biden to give a Holocaust Day speech..

The NSC Chief of Intelligence post is a sensitive position usually held by a CIA officer. Bitar is not an intelligence person, rather an anti Israel political activist. As a student at Georgetownhe led the Muslim Brotherhood aligned group, Students For Justice in Palestine organizing BDS campaigns against Israel. He led a panel that discussed how to indoctrinate Christians to believe that Israel has no right to exist.

Bitar served in the Obama administration and now holds this very sensitive position. This explains who is in charge of the Executive Branch.

Obama and everyone in his cabinet was and is an anti semitw hate Israel fanboy. It's amazing how the media treated Obama with white gloves and still do. Utterly amazing. if they know they just ignore it. Then yoh have people like Bari who are just shocked by all the anti semitism that's going on.

I'm as happy as a pig in shit that everything is coming to light. This is all coming out in the open now. You can't hide it anymore. The college protests peeled back another layer of the rotten onion that Obama is at the core of.

Can you smell it yet Bari? Will you investigate it Bari???

JJoshua, I hear you, but “if only!”what you stated were true!

There are millions of hardworking Americans, raising families who are totally not keeping up with what’s taking place, right under our noses! They are living their lives, expecting the politicians (they keep reelecting!) to take care of them / the country.

I don’t say this to disparage them! But those of us who can pay to support these news type podcast, we who pay close attention + do our research, we are unlike

those folks trying to make ends meet. They don’t “smell the rot,” like we do.

What stinks to them is that they can’t stretch a dollar like they once could! And all the hopes & dreams they had for the 2020 Presidential election were dashed!

Most of those tax paying, middle Americans literally get their media news, 30 minutes worth, after their work day & before supper, from their local news stations = ABC, CBS, NBC = owned & influenced by the MSM WOKE Propagandist for the Democrat & RINO party elites.

They watch the weather forecast, who won the latest football game, who retired from the local bank, and who past away. And, a bit about foreign Wars, but with the typical Left Leaning slant!

Of course, they get to see how Trump is a sleaze bag, losing, deservedly so, in another of his sex scandal cases! From 18 years ago, but ignore those minor details, because “Orange Man Bad!”

Ironically, no one remembers about Bill Clinton and his sex scandals WHILE HE WAS President, as well as HIS rape cases! But the Democrats screeched “THAT isn’t relevant, and it’s private btw Bill & Hillary!” Oprah agreed!

Yes, everyone has access to and is on Social Media, but SO many people look at Facebook to see where their friends are wanting to vacation, and to post photos of what they had for lunch!

The only reason I tend to believe so many folks are apathetic isn’t because they are uninformed. ALL the J6 bullshit has many of them terrified to speak out, except among themselves.

I had hoped in 2015 & 2016, when we all saw Trump’s huge rallies, that Americans were “waking up!”

By 2020, Biden became “The most popular president EVER elected in the history of America” and he didn’t even have to campaign!

I pray we don’t have a 2020 repeat! The “stench” is nauseating!

The city of Malmo Sweden is hosting Eurovision. Eden Golan, a young Israeli superstar is a top contender. She was warned by Israeli intelligence not to leave her hotel alone. Now thousands of islamists are getting ready to riot in Malmo because a Jewish woman is going to sing. Sweden would make Hitler proud.

I read an article thr another day about Sweden is falling into thr abyss with its 2 million (newcomers) and only has about 20 years or so to continue to be Sweden.

But we were reading stories about the rapes and the murders and the bullying decades ago and they still let the other in.

The campus protesters would say, they are not going to riot in Malmo because she’s Jewish. It’s because she’s a Zionist. Why can’t all us geezers understand the difference? So the riot is an acceptable act of resistance; it’s not at all antisemitic. And if we don’t see it that way, we’re obviously Islamaphobic.

I have come to believe that their enemy is Nationalism, at least in the western world. Thus all the powerful global organizations, Davos, WEC, the World Bank, et cetera., have strong ties with the enforcer deep state here and in Europe. Fomenting discord, fractionating the populace is a key tool. Regardless of the merits of Climatism, because the climate is global, it's a perfect mechanism for coercing transnational behavior. The goal is Power, a small immensely wealthy elite with unlimited economic power over everybody. They need to control the narrative everywhere, and thus criminalize dissent. Russia, China and India are greatly more difficult to dominate so far. My $0.02.

Book recommendation if you want to make sense of why a bunch of NGOs would be funding pro-Hamas students: *The Populist Delusion* by Neema Parvini. The basic premise of the book is that there's no such thing as a "grassroots" movement; humans are generally too unorganized. There needs to be elites to organize and fund them. Well-spoken, charismatic, and connected people who direct the large masses and tell them where to go and what to do.

As for exactly why these leftist organizations would be so much against Israel, it could be as simple as "settler colonial state," or there could be more interesting geopolitical questions behind it. Or some might just want to destabilize America.

They hate Israel because they hate jews and can’t abide the existence of the planet’s only Jewish state.

Expand full comment

No, the hate encompasses Jews, Whites, "White adjacent" ( which can include Black conservatives, as well as Asians or any other group deemed potential colonialists or successful). Oddly, Israel is the only Mideast country that comes anywhere close to the freedom and equality we see in the US. Meanwhile, Hamas is oppressive over their own people, particularly women, children and God forbid Gay people. These idiots can't even get their "oppression" narrative straight.

Interesting and mildly amusing but how about some investigative reporting and analysis of your own on who or what organization is funding these "spontaneous" campus "protests." Maybe you'll find the very people you like are not really your friends. Follow the money and you'll find the people working to destabilize our country.
