We’re to believe that a group of men have delayed/blocked approval for a women’s libido enhancing drug because … sexism?!? It’s far more plausible to believe these “chauvinistic pigs” would release the drug in spite of the side effects- not put it on the back burner! No straight man in history has dissuaded a chance to take a short cut in enhancing a woman’s desire.

CS, thanks for your post. A slight correction. The Declaration states all men were created equal. The use of the adjective refers to their status relative to one another. Using the adverb describes the process by which we were created and suggests our Creator had left us to duke it out with one another for primacy.

NYC and Seattle are exhibits A & B of what happens when we lose sight of our equal stations. Some animals become more equal than others. Unfortunately, these two pig sties are not alone. Across our great nation, progressives have commandeered municipalities of every size — egged on and abetted by local legislators who’ve commandeer our states. Look at New England. Conservatives comprise about 40 percent of the electorate. Yet within the six states, we hold one U.S. Senate seat, one governorship, one state house. I confirmed my numbers with Chat; even it sounded incredulous. The end result, at least for CT, is no, zero, zip, nada, private sector jobs growth here in the Destitution State last year.

One last point and I’ll shut up. These governing positions, especially at the local level, are increasingly held by state employees. The unions representing them all have formal internal policies that ensure their members will get elected. Our conservative policy institute recently highlighted such efforts undertaken the state teachers union. Once in office, they don’t recuse themselves from votes; they simply scratch each other’s backs. We’re a pathetic cautionary tale for the rest of you.

Your email subject line this morning says 'Hollywood neuters Animal Farm'.

Shouldn't it read 'Hollywood Lies About The Meaning Of Animal Farm'?

What a disgrace. So a book about re-writing history and the truth, has been made into a movie in which the producers re-write the very meaning of the book. Leftism 101.

Considering that the democrats are now pushing the guy in Maine with the Nazi death head tattoo, who thinks Hamas is the greatest, who also blamed women for rape, and is a lieing commie POS in general (claims to be working class after having gone to a prep school at a whopping $75,000 a year, and whose daddy gave him $200,000 as a downpayment for his house), or their love of the creepy creep Hezbollah stan in Michigan , and lets not forget their embrace and promotion of Hasan "October 7 rapes are not important-Hamas fan boy- limousine commie -animal abusing" Piker I would by pass the democrats on anything especially having to do with Israel, fighting antisemitism, or basic decent humanity at this point.

Isn't it interesting that while people are rightly concerned about Incels and their mind sets, the MSM, democrats, intellectual elite seem to just gloss over the democratic progressive left candidates embrace of rape supporters and rape in general...of course in their mindset its not rape if its committed by the oppressed in fact its required in the revolution....and people are going to vote for these shitbags...

Two months from.today millions will be celebrating America's 250th birthday. And millions will be looking for a do over.

The Declaration of Independence has two cornerstone philosophies:(1) that all men are created equally ( and created implies who did the creating) & (2) that all humans have the inalienable right to life ,liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I hope the second notion receives the focus it deserves because it is the essence of America because it speaks to individual rights that we all have and that are not derived from government. Our civil war today is in many ways all about this issue : what are our rights as individuals, and what is the role to be played by our government? Those who voted in NYC and Seattle for have made clear where they stand and what they want. What are the odds that either of these cities will reverse course and return to the notions expressed by our Founders who risked their lives by opposing a monarch at a time when all of old Europe was ruled by real kings who had and exercised extreme power over their subjects' lives, freedom( non existent) and individual pursuits of happiness. Will we choose to maintain our freedoms as individuals or will we choose a world of increased government control which harkens back to the old world of real kings who suppressed individual rights including the ownership of private property( a huge part of the pursuit of happiness). Maybe this is why the loudest "protesters " are so unHAPPY.

Sen. Tim Kaine may disagree with you on the “…not derived from government.”! Just think about the last 3 presidential races…D party put forth Kaine, Harris, and Walz…to be one heartbeat from President. Frightening.

I am sure he would along w his pals. What a difference a single letter makes( C versus K). One raises Caine , the other ( K man) roots for our enemies.

Am I shocked by the misstatement of The FP & it's blurb this morning?

No I am not. Contrast this, dear commenters:

"...and the Trump administration turned down a deal that would have given the government a 90 percent stake in the airline."

With this from the CNBC link provided:

"Spirit bondholders rejected an 11th-hour bailout proposal from the Trump administration that could have included up to $500 million to keep the ailing airline afloat. The deal would have put the government ahead of other bondholders’ claims and given it an up to 90% stake in the airline."

Give up the MSM bias, TFP.

Tim's avatar

We saw this with BO’s bailout of the auto industry (ex. Ford). Turned bankruptcy law on its ear to save those union jobs and Board. Absolutely screwed higher-in-priority bondholders.

Stephen Schrader's avatar

None of this would be happening if it weren't for Democrats. Fauxcahantas is trash

The government bailing out a failing business is a very bad idea anyway.

Stephen Schrader's avatar

On the surface I agree. However, Trump has made other deals (Intel) where the government is making $$. Hopefully between making $ and tariffs SS can be "saved."

I'd be quite pissed if my monthly check stopped.

Perhaps the title should have read : THE WRATH OF KHAN. And now she may be setting economic policy for Gotham. Not to worry of course because she is an... expert. AOC also has a degree in economics and is an outside advisor so all will be well.

Lizzie Warren took an axe

She gave Spirit 40 whack

( I didn't write it but it applies)

Anyone who lives in a small town now with fewer or no flight options or who is paying much higher ticket prices?

from @FinalTelegraph on XElizabeth Warren's Socialist Crusade Just Slaughtered 17,000 Jobs and Destroyed Spirit Airlines

Elizabeth Warren is the architect of a spectacular economic slaughter. She masquerades as a populist crusader while systematically destroying the livelihoods of the very working class she claims to champion. Her deliberate sabotage of Spirit Airlines exposes the venomous reality of progressive economic policy. By suffocating a struggling enterprise in the name of consumer protection, she orchestrated the total collapse of an airline that provided vital mobility to lower-income Americans.

Look at the sheer arrogance of her actions. Spirit was bleeding cash and desperate for capital to survive. The proposed $3.8 billion acquisition by JetBlue was a necessary lifeline. Warren aggressively lobbied the Department of Transportation and the Department of Justice to kill the deal. She deployed the full weight of her office to block a previous merger with Frontier. She explicitly demanded the state intervene to prevent consolidation, completely ignoring the fundamental market reality that the airline was dying.

The results of her ideological crusade are absolute devastation. In early May 2026, Spirit abruptly ceased all operations. Between 14,000 and 17,000 workers were instantly thrown into the streets. These are the blue-collar Americans Warren pretends to fight for, now sacrificed on the altar of her regulatory ambitions. The budget travelers who relied on rock-bottom fares are now entirely at the mercy of the major corporate airlines. The ultra-low-cost carrier market has been completely gutted, guaranteeing fewer options and higher costs for everyone.

Never forget her grotesque victory lap. When a federal judge blocked the JetBlue merger in January 2024, Warren publicly gloated, declaring it a massive Biden win for flyers. That statement is a monument to leftist delusion. Her supposed triumph guaranteed the total liquidation of the company. She promised lower fares and delivered industry bankruptcy.

Now that her catastrophic failure is undeniable, she resorts to pathetic deflection. On May 2, she actually attempted to blame Donald Trump and geopolitical fuel spikes for a corporate execution she personally engineered. She refuses to accept responsibility for wielding antitrust laws as a weapon of corporate destruction. The left cares absolutely nothing about the working class or market stability. They only care about expanding state control over private industry. Warren achieved her goal of market intervention, and the American consumer is paying the ultimate price.

I was shocked when TFP blamed Trump for rejecting 90percent ownership of Spirit. That was the Trump proposal. TFP is getting sloppy or has TDS.

I am pleased you are continuing to cover the antisemitism problem in the UK and the possibility it could be driven in some part by the IR.

More does need to be done in the UK to confront this problem on the hard Left.

Because it can be instructive to see an interviewer demolish a hard Left politician’s NLP strategy and hold them to account. Zach Polanski ( birth name David Plauden) is the current leader of the Green Party. He happens to be Jewish. The Greens have taken a turn away from environmental conservation and towards Corbyn’s Momentum. Eco-populist is the new term. Polanski tried to reframe the Golders Green stabbing as police brutality and was roundly condemned. He disliked the Times’ cartoon of him kicking a policeman in the head as the policeman tried to stop the assailant. He also does not feel the intervention of moderate Muslims such as the former EHRC head Baroness Falkner that Muslim need to confront the massive elephant in their room – namely the casual acceptance of antisemitism helpful but rather calls it inflammatory. He believes the pro-Palestine marches are peaceful and has not witnessed any hate crimes on the marches. He appears to believe other people’s perceptions are wrong and his are correct. The Trevor Philips interview is here: https://x.com/stephenpollard/status/2050951287684895231

An NLP strategy is a deliberate technique to achieve a specific aim. You can see Polanski, a former hypnotist, trying various different deflection and reframing techniques and failing. His supporters are now claiming Philips was rude and Polanski won, betting that most people will not watch the interview. In other words, they are trying to reframe a car crash. https://nlpsure.com/nlp-strategies/

This is a good op ed from Trevor Philips (basically a restatement of his opening remarks for his Sunday Interview programme). He also points out the government and police do have the necessary powers to stop the protests but are choosing not to use them. Philips was the first chairman of the EHRC and has been a tireless campaigner for equal rights. https://www.thetimes.com/comment/columnists/article/stand-with-jews-antisemitism-golders-green-attacks-mlqccsxq9 or https://archive.ph/rf3ue

This long article from Spiked explains the Green’s metamorphous. The local elections happen on 7 May, the Greens are expected to do well. For a long time the Greens have been treated as eccentric cranks who siphon off bucolic Tories but don’t affect Labour voters. This calculus changed after the Gorton and Denton by-election which revealed a party at home George Galloway styled hyperbole. https://www.spiked-online.com/2026/05/02/the-greens-the-new-nasty-party/ or https://archive.ph/guBXY
