It’s interesting how Tulsi Gabbard’s character is subtly besmirched in the article without any real evidence. Oddly enough, I was listening to Glenn Greenwald while reading this article and he brought up a clip of Bari on Joe Rogan in 2019 where she referred to Tulsi as an Assad ‘toadie’ but couldn’t bring the receipts when pressed. Instead, she pivoted to “did Tulsi ever apologize for her comments about conversion therapy. “ So now it’s ‘kooky’, is that like weird?

Michael, although I share some of her unorthodox views on foreign policy, but I’m concerned about her affiliation with the cultish, mystical Hinduism group, The Science of Identity Foundation and its abusive leader, Chris Butler. This needs to be investigated.

"One senior congressional staffer told The Free Press that he questioned whether the former congresswoman could even get a security clearance given her flirtations with the Assad regime"

Ahh, the art of selective character assasination ... when Robert Malley, Arianne Tabatabai and Phillip Gordon all got security clearances despite their active involvement in the Iran Experts Initiative, setup by Iran's Foreign Ministry to sway public opinion in the West

to solve any problem we must be willing to talk about it -not censure what the anointed disagree with. The road the anointed have led us down serves them well but not all.

"Maybe. But that all sounds a little too premeditated. " But that is exactly who Trump is ..

“Tulsi Gabbard—a military veteran and former Democrat until she came out as a Republican” Oli are you saying she was always closeted Republican? A closeted MAGA supporter? A closeted alien? She didn’t come out. She embarrassed the neo-democrat party by calling out their Anti-liberal and anti-American policies. Tulsi is still Tulsi. Bari how do you continue to support Oli’s nonsense. He is a much better fit for MSNBC.

I subscribe here for one reason - Coleman Hughes - so I rarely dump into the comments section of any other post...and now I know why. The twisting so many are doing to applaud his picks so far is comedy to me. The "4D chess" reasoning for Gaetz is example 1. Choosing RFK to lead HHS is also comedy but we all saw it coming. Look, if the guy gets us to mirror EU nutrition labeling and forces food manufacturers to sell their processed food with the EU formulas, great, but then I don't want to hear a single complaint that food costs will increase (they will). Michelle Obama tried to get kids to eat slightly healthier and people lost their minds - e.g. Kooky Palin with her Big Gulp. Bottom line is most of picks will fall out soon enough. Constant turnover and prior "employees" turning on him has been the hallmark of everything Trump, this is not debatable. So alrighty, red won so red owns it all. Zero excuses will be tolerated and considering the temperature of the country, every single thing red and Trump do will be catalogued and scrutinized. Do I hope red crashes the plane? Of course not, I live here too. Do I think red will crash the plane? I do, and then they'll light the wreckage on fire. Good luck.

Ok...so to those of you on the left, don't you know the more you scream and wring your hands about any of Donald Trump's picks, the more those of us on the right know Trump did a good job in his appointments and nominations....the more the left hates someone, it gives fuel to the love or at least the acceptance on the right of any particular candidate....I do not like some of his picks, but am certainly enjoying the show of utter outrage on the left....truly entertaining after 4 years of utter smugness directed my way daily of persons who felt they always knew better of what I needed

Mostly good picks. I don't get how he came up with Gaetz.

Everytime I make the mistake of opening The Free Press I am reminded it has no intention of being the fair press. Now let’s see, Oliver your logic today is because President Biden hosted the President Elect at the White House and Mr Trump didn’t piss on the carpet and have a hissy fit and called it a beautiful thing, nullifies the idea that he and his MAGA sycophants are a threat to democracy. You called the idea a travesty. Based on his cabinet picks already and his desire to arm twist a red sweep majority into recess appointments seems to hint at his intention to have zero checks and balances. Did it ever occur to you as Bill Maher has so aptly put it that the only reason President elect Trump thinks everything is beautiful is because ONE PARTY…the party leaving the White House actually believes in democracy and the peaceful transfer of power. No bitching, no crying, no lying.

You can’t love democracy only when you win.

If you truly believe what was said about Trump by the left leaning media - that he is Hitler, he's a fascist, he's a threat to democracy, he will literally be the End of Democracy - why on earth would you allow a peaceful transfer? I suspect it's because you were lying all along, and you knew it. That's why you lost.

Silly comment heatherjm. It was not just the MSM or the far left that recognized and called out his narcissism, mendacity, and penchant for challenging and dispensing with the guardrails that protect our democracy, it was the numerous reports from those who worked most closely with him -- Republicans -- who alerted us to risks posed by Trump and his loyal acolytes. Nevertheless, because we believe in the rule of law and accept the most unfortunate results of this election, we now prepare to defend our country and its constitution as the inevitable attacks occur from our President-elect.

It's a new grift with every election with those guys. 2016 - Donna Brazile, ALSO 2016 - the $20 million price tag on DNC, 2020 - 50 former intelligence officials and the "Hallmarks of Russian Disinformation" (sounds like the title of a Harry Potter book) , 2024 -Harris basically trying to buy an election. As Oprah would say, "You get $1 million, and You get $1 Million . . . ."

It is amazing that grifters like Al Sharpton and before him, Jesse Jackson, essentially blackmail(ed) organizations to donate big sums to their respective organizations in return for these guys to say nothing negative about the "donors". Sharpton should be kicked off of MSNBC for not owning up to the "donation." Of courses, nothing will happen to this fraudster. And remember Tawana Brawley.
