MAGA goes to war with itself? What kind of headline is that? Your headline writer needs to be fired. The Make America Great Again campaign is alive, healthy, and strong as far as I can see. Your wishful thinking is exposed in a headline that if off base, a stretch at best.

“Israel claims” Iran is on the cusp of having a nuclear bomb….. how about the U.S, IAC and most of the civilized world making the same “claim?” Why do you think Iran built multiple sites and buried its largest bomb making facilities deep underground? Come on, man.

So, disagreement in a party over a single policy or action is analogous with disunity and a breakup?

Geesh... Republicans are not collectivists. They live and breath to argue about everything.

Your post seems to imply that "islamophobia" (sic!) is a Bad Thing.

OK.

But them one might do what this writer did: Study the history of Islam from 624 to 2025, travel to Islam-dominated lands, and interact with Muslims for years.

And as a result, one is likely to come to the conclusion that your "Islamophobia" is in truth nothing more than having good taste, with a severe case of --- humanity.

Anyone on this board who wants direct US intervention in Iran after voting for Obama should look at themselves in the mirror. Really. You guys helped enable this evil in Iran. (Yes, I'm looking at you Oliver, Eli, and others.) You guys created this situation.

I support Israel and agree with its confrontation with Iran. However, I don't support direct US intervention in Iran. That doesn't make me whatever-the-f*ck you may call me.

Why Israel 🇮🇱 Hit Iran's 🇮🇷 Uranium Enrichment Now

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjwk2zdfrWg

Israel just attacked Iran. But why now?

In this video, I explain the science behind uranium enrichment—and why it gets easier the closer you get to weapons-grade material. Using simple analogies (yes, including green M&Ms), I break down how uranium goes from rock in the ground to fuel for a nuclear bomb.

And more importantly, I talk about why the timing of Israel’s attack—just days before a new moon—might mean Iran was closer than ever to crossing the nuclear threshold.

How Nuclear Weapons Work (for Dummies.)

All isotopes exist in two forms: stable and unstable. These unstable isotopes are considered "radioactive" because they have too many neutrons compared with their protons. Nature abhors this imbalance and resolves it in a number of ways. It can turn a neutron into a proton, releasing a few protons and neutrons as "alpha particles" (which are basically helium without the electrons.) Or shed a neutron.

If shed neutrons are captured by other nearby isotopes and made unstable, the result can become a "chain reaction" where more neutrons are released by nearby atoms than absorbed. Under the right conditions, this can power cities. Left uncontrolled, it can destroy them.

Note: the final segment of this video is President Truman's address to the United States after the first atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

I view Tucker and Candace on the fringe of the right. MAGA? I don't think so. Maybe I'm just a moderate MAGA, but I never take credence in what Tucker or Candace say or think. MGT agreeing with AOC is more dangerous in my opinion. Trump is still very much pro-Israel as are most of the MAGAites out there. Israel needs the US to finish off Iran (viz Fordow). G-d willing this will happen soon so we can have peace in the middle east.

A friend attended a meeting of Conservatives (some libertarians and two centrist) last night and the loudest people were pro war with Iran and they were the majority. When the anti-war people spoke up they made sure everyone knew they supported Israel but didn’t agree war and escalation was the answer. Everyone was respectful, so no maga civil war among the people. This supposed civil war is the media shining a floodlight on the showboating politicians and talking heads.

As for my liberal friends, they’re happy about the no kings protests. There’s a sense of unity being created—making the fights among conservatives stand out all the more.

Please stop the presumptuous “EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW” tagline on posts. That is classic MSM clickbait speak. This is Substack, where most readers like to make up their own minds about what they need to know. In any case, in a breaking news situation “everything we need to know” is very obviously not available yet. Treat us like adults. Give us the facts and let us decide. (This is not a critique of your coverage).

“I would not want to have to send forces down there,” a Trump administration official working on Iran told The Free Press. “It could be a medieval battle.”

"Working on Iran"? And that's the whole basis for the clickbait title of the piece here -- one official's offhand opinion. The rest is, again, an echo chamber of all the other articles today, which all try earnestly to generate admin gossip heat. Except, of course, Garry Kasparov -- such a bracing dose of actual Reality! I do wonder how all these de-escaladeros would feel if their OWN family faced imminent destruction...

And if the Tuckster wants his own show, well, TFP is certainly doing its best to make that happen. Yike.

“Trump, Tucker, and the War Tearing Apart MAGA”

Before Bari and the Gals at TFP wet their panties over the prospect of MAGA tearing itself apart, they might read again comments from the senior State Department official quoted in the article, “the president has done an excellent job walking a fine line supporting our ally Israel without getting the U.S. involved in the conflict or endangering Americans”. When it comes to choosing which “extreme” camp has more credibility, history offers some insight. As I recall, warmongering extremists like Lindsey Graham and screaming blowhards like Mark Levin were among the biggest proponents of the Iraq war crowd, assuring us that there was yellowcake everywhere and Hussein was months away from staging an even bigger 9/11. I remember Dick Cheney telling us that all we had to do was drop couple of bombs, send in a few Army units to overthrow Hussein and Iraqis would lay down a carpet of rose petals for us American liberators. After pissing away hundreds of billions of dollars and causing the death of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, no one found any yellowcake but one didn’t have to look very hard to find lots of body parts formerly attached to US soldiers.

And who can forget that perhaps the biggest cheer leader for the Iraq war was Bibi Netanyahu. The same Netanyahu who has spent the last thirty years telling us that “Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time”, As the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Still, one has to question the prescience of someone who completely missed the October 7, Hamas massacre. Or did he? After 9/11 Bush gave the neocons a blank check to blow up the middle east. Netanyahu now has HIS war. If dropping a few bombs can end any threat of a nuclear Iran, great. If it doesn’t what comes next?

So you're a perfect example of MAGA tearing itself apart. BiBi is a war monger and according to you....maybe purposely ignored the Oct. 7 warnings? Yet, somehow these Islamic countries are without criticism? Trust me....what happens "over there" will eventually come here. It's just amazing how many people blame Israel for everything. I always considered myself a jew who is conservative, but lately I've become more moderate because of the right's view of Israel and jews in general. My adult sons (in their 20s) feel the same way. It's a shame because for decades, conservatives wondered why Jews weren't conservative and now you can see why.
