This was so touching. I loved all the stories, especially the first one about the kid with Asperger’s. I have a 14 year old just like him.

I was also touched by the story about the Mexican busboy who held RFK as he was dying. I am from Mexico and it was so beautiful to hear that this man felt seen and even more proud of being an American after his experience with Mr. Kennedy. I love my country just as much as these two men did.

I’ve seen my husband cry probably three times in our 15+ yrs together. The second story, about the dad who stayed up all night to learn his son’s algebra, made him silently weep in the drivers seat next to me. Beautiful essays, thank you again FP.

I loved and was moved by each story. All good things to consider and appreciate.

The first story gutted me in the best way. My son has Aspergers and he’s 25 now. This could have been us 12 years ago. And the story about Laura, omg! Its my family.
