Hey, you missed DC Judge Zia Faruqui APOLOGIZING to our indicted Friendly Federal assassin because he felt the poor man was not treated as well as J6 defendants.

Please, Will -- stop with the UFO stuff, okay? 🙄

Substitute "earned" for "taken" and Platner would have it close to right.

"A handful of Indiana state senators lost to Trump-backed challengers in primary elections on Tuesday."

Handful? Really?? There were 7 Democrats who were Trump's main focus - and the latest #'s indicate that Trump-backed candidates beat 6 of them. 6 of 7 - almost a clean sweep.

And somehow in today's media, that qualifies as 'a handful'.

Roderick Bell's avatar

@Forhere... "Handful? Really?? ... 6 of 7 - almost a clean sweep."

In these sentences, "handful" refers to the amount, not the proportion. Seven is quite reasonably described as a handful.

I apologize for I neglected to mention the quintessential hypocrite, the man who could talk the talk but was never able to walk the walk, the one I stupidly voted for, not once but twice, Obuma!

Read Michelle Obama's book and it paints the picture of an entitled guru who was prepared to have his wife work to support the family while he stood around, striking a pose and waiting for greatness to be thrust upon him. NOW Michelle is unhappy???!!!

The left wants Pottersville, the sane prefer Bedford Falls.

Far-left candidates are saddling up to the table with the same "drain the swamp, no foreign wars, show us the files" b.s. the bloated orangutan in the oval office used to completely redesign the GOP in his own image. This is not hard math.

Roderick Bell's avatar

@Poco "This is not hard math."

No, but it's damned hard parsing. I'm lost at "saddling up to the table."

My New Deal Democratic Party: It has morphed into the National Socialist Democrat American Workers Party, (NSDAWP) acronym D-Morons;

Why? It's a given that they are a reflection of the electorate, their constituents. As a case in point 30-35% of young NYC Jews voted for Mandamni. That's irrational. But understand that at least two generations of Americans have been indoctrinated with "so called Socialist" ideology which is right out of the Soviet playbook. It's reinforced by the Mainstream Media. Extremism has been taught to our young by extremists. It's understood that these people have no experience with the evil that was the Soviet Union & Stalin. Too many members of these generations are functional illiterates at a minimum with regards to U.S. & world history.

Lets look at contemporary issues:

The Iran War & War Powers Act: This was never invoked for Clinton or Obuma. In fact there are N-Morons members stating that Trump's War is illegal while videos show them claiming that the Act wasn't a requirement for Clinton's & Obuma's adventures. Why?

Voting Rights & Gerrymandering: When I learned that Texas had altered the political landscape by altering the voting districts I thought it illiberal. I then looked deeper into gerrymandering.

In 2024, states with NO republican congressmen: Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont. States with only one Republican Congressman: Alaska, Maryland, Nevada, Oregon; Why?

Epstein: Epstein BAD; Swalwell good until he wasn't. How long was he defended by N-Morons?

What crosses your mind when you think Col. Sanders, Harris, Murphy, Coons, Van Hellen, Durbin, AOC, Omar, Tlaib, Newsom, Pritzker, Spanberger, Mandamni, Purple Haired Klingon, Kaine, Jaladalapal, Schiff, Raskin, Hackeem, Chucky, Shmo Khanna, El-Sayed, Platner, extremists, hypocrites, incompetent, JewHaters, sickening?

If there is a policy, any policy that the D-Morons dislike their solution to rectify the problem is to curse & blame Trump.

It has set the entire Left-voting spectrum up for failure - particularly the young. Ask Dr. Thomas Sowell.

Hopefully, the Dems & Leftists, media will soon be devouring their own.

The candidate in Maine is the last straw . For me, democrats have abandoned women by embracing Islam. They don’t have a leg to stand on, at this point , about fascism . They have embraced Islamist extremism, socialism and communism. I’m done .

Linda Schoeman's avatar

Yes, and transgenderism which puts men into women’s’ spaces.

Sue Robbins's avatar

Also embracing burqas as religious freedom ! Wtaf . The burqa is abject abuse of women that was something we saw in the most backward oppressive Islamist nations. Burqas are sharia law, not part of the Muslim religion. It is a law . A law we do not practice in our Democracy. Supporting it is insane! The left should be advocating against this abhorrent abuse of women. Women are murdered for not wearing the covering. How can the left defend it. There is no women’s movement on the left . It’s a joke . When they ignored or excused the rape of Israeli women, the women’s movement lost all credibility. There are women and children being enslaved in Nigeria, Congo and Sudan by Islamists and the left is silent. They were silent on the Iranian women too. The left is a farce.

When I see women in hijabs or burkas walking around with their husbands at Costco, every fiber in my being cringes. For modesty? My ass. Democrats have to embrace them though, just like they embrace the gay pride parades with men dressed as dogs being walked around on a leash. Who's to judge? It's sad and disgustingly dehumanizing. Sometimes I wonder if some women feminists have succeeded neutering the men in their circles, that they secretly are in awe of men who demonstrate power like Muslim men. These men confidently walk around parading their women in a mobile prison with no shame, with an air of arrogance even.

Let's not omit the stoning of women for the crime of "allowing themselves to be raped".

The radicals have always been in the shadows of the Democratic Party, but close by. Anyone remember the 1968 Chicago convention? So it goes, the hippies became yuppies and the radicals became the rich, comfortable, party establishment. Their grandkids are just following in their footsteps. By the way, Platner is very much a part of this establishment, his grandfather was a famous architect and Platner attended the very shi shi Hotchkiss School for a while. Being an oysterman is just his hipster gig.

His parents probably funded his business and I’m sorry but he has no excuse for his horrible comments about women being raped deserving it or his racist horrible tatoo!! To young bullshit he was 26 or 27 and don’t tattoos take a few visits???!!!

Confused by the Indiana comment. Was this a successful effort to unseat Indiana Republicans who opposed redistricting? Or was it a minor event with a handful of folks unseated, with a lot of money spent to achieve a small result? Or maybe both? Confusing. It sounds like 5 of 7 incumbents lost.

Terry's avatar

Yes, these 7 GOP legislators opposed the Republican redistricting bill. Pro-Trump, pro-redistricting Republicans targeted them for primarying, and managed to get 5 of them unseated. As long as Republicans are elected to these seats in the general, it's a win for the pro-Trump faction.

Peter R Kohli's avatar

Interesting comment which shows the left wing bias, sadly, of TFP. According to the NY Post, Trump won big, but according to TFP, Trump lost big. Go figure.

For those of you who are following me, I’ve been saying for quite some time that the difference between dems and GOP is the dems are mainstreaming far left ideology and electing such people, while the majority on the right are calling out the Tuckers and Candace’s. There are no far right candidates for elections, just far left and we’re seeing them actually hold office now more often than not.
