“All of those countries that can't get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty, and Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT. You'll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won't be there to help you anymore, just like you weren't there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!”

So the murder of Christians by Muslims in Nigeria on Palm Sunday is because of climate change. How can you link to Reuters as a source. WTF. Here is the quote from your linked article.

“Violence in central Nigeria, known as the Middle Belt, is often painted as ethno-religious between mainly Muslim Fulani herders and Christian farmers. But many experts and politicians say climate change and expanding agriculture stoke competition for land, leading to conflicts regardless of faith or ethnicity.” Wow! I guess we just need to believe the “many experts”.

A link to Reuters on any topic is a joke. Unbelievable.

55% of American Jews oppose the war against a country who lives for their destruction. If that doesn’t demonstrate the power of living in the land of the free, I don’t know what does.

Noga Sklar's avatar

Interesting data about the Jews lack of support for the war in Iran. How do you get these data? How do you pick the sample? This result does not seem to reflect the reality. I'm not convinced.

I live in Texas and have watched Mr. Talarico firsthand in the Texas legislature. His publically stated views are extreme left. The man is a Bible thumping charlatan, nothing more.

I saw Phil Gramm's editorial about how John Cornyn does not support gun control. I have great respect for Phil Gramm, but in this case, he's flat wrong. Cornyn has a history of supporting gun control and Texans love their guns. I'm willing to bet that Texans are willing to risk sending a Democrat to the Senate and make an example of backstabbers like Cornyn. After all, what's the point of electing Republicans when they attack your civil liberties just like a Democrat?

So many chuckles in today's Front Page. A 'Christian pastor' that supports abortion and transgender - nope. Muslims concealing their true beliefs- check.

Kevin's avatar

I disagree with Mr. Talarico's views, but for all I know he may really be a Christian. As Paul said, "I don't know. God knows."

What annoys me is the Democrats' Tim-Walz-ification of their very leftist candidates. They seem to think we're dumb enough to support any Bible-quotin' good ol' boys regardless of where they stand on issues.

Tilley's avatar

I don't know what God knows. But I sure do know what Talarico's positions are on transgender hysteria and abortion. Not a great deal of mystery there.

Pamela's avatar

I'm having a hard time getting past the idea of someone who claims to have "a Christian identity" supporting "transgender rights and abortion." God created humans male and female, known by Him from (at least) the moment of conception.

How about an article on The Fed? Americans are hurting and no one wants to report on one of the biggest costs to the American worker ….interest paid on credit cards, mortgages, home equity loans, car loans etc. At the least the Fed (they are the government of the people not Wall Street) could drop the prime rate!

On the last news bulletin

-last sentence “ though it is unclear whether the perpetrators of the latest attack, which took place on Palm Sunday, targeted victims for their faith”

Wrong

Reports from the ground in Nigeria - once again this was Muslims slaughtering Christian’s on Palm Sunday

Muslims have been killing Christians in Nigeria for a long time - and silence from the West

Why was this the last little bulletin yet yesterday much space was devoted to Cardinal Puzzabolla’ s PR stunt In Jerusalem ?

Terrible reporting

For oh so many: Leftism trumps Judaism. At the end of their sedars this week will they actually say : Next year in Jerusalem.

I think they will say those words, realize what they just said, and, uncomfortably, move on to another macaroon

All the polls prove what I have always said about the Jewish American community, they are their own worst enemy and while known for being intellectual, the majority lack any semblance of common sense. Israel needs to protect herself and not worry what Jewish Americans think about anything having to do with her survival. Which is so ironic since Jews world wide are blamed by antisemites for everything Israel does.

Tim's avatar

BUT…800 respondents. No indication of the actual methodology or question phrasing. Poll may be accurate, but I am so tired of polls being used as “evidence” of particular viewpoints.

EKB ✡️ 🕎 🇺🇸's avatar

So absolutely true. Pollsters can manipulate a poll to come out anyway they want. Methodology is important. Interestingly that methodology was not explained.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

Meant to ask you and others who may know: how many of the no kings protesters wore PROUD AMERICAN JEW tee shirts? Maybe it was thousands?

EKB ✡️ 🕎 🇺🇸's avatar

I don’t think so. Of course there probably were quite a few. The same who side with Israel’s enemies

Gramm’a endorsement of Cornyn is very compelling. Not many people remember the things good Chicago School-aligned politicians did to wrangle down insane Federal spending after Reagan’s military buildup. (And this why Elon shares Friedman videos on Twi^H^H^HX)

Strangely, California is actually a place of hope again. After thirty years of really terrible progressive policies, maybe sanity is going to return there. The jumble(?) primary system might produce only two Republicans atop the ballot in November. That #%^ from the MTV show my millennia girlfriends used to watch could well be LA mayor.

Both parties are terrible about tamping down the craziest in their caucuses. I have no idea who’s worse when it comes to controlling the tax that is excessive spending.

Clarity Seeker's avatar

Trump needs to get on board.

757sean's avatar

Wasn’t sure whether to agree or disagree with that sentiment.

As is often the case, the less he says, the better for everybody.

Just one person's opinion. My only objective is winning that race. And the Texans who call themselves conservative should make clear they will vote in droves for whoever the gop nominee happens to be. Period. No moaning or stomping of feet

Because it happened this morning and I know the FP has done articles about Britain's grooming gang scandal -- the Inquiry has been launched and will look at ethnic origin, religion and culture as part of its remit. They are also going to name and shame the enablers -- the public officials who turned a blind eye. Baroness Casey listened to the survivors. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/31/grooming-gangs-inquiry-expose-police-failed-investigate/

Mahmood has also announced the ending of the Non Crime Hate Incident reporting in the UK. https://x.com/WeAreFairCop/status/2038875197625729471

This all sounds positive, Michelle, and thanks again for providing connections (three of which I could access). It is a marvel that this new push has taken, what, 10, 15 or more years to happen? Perhaps by, as the Baroness and Mahmood say, examining the role of "religion"--I quote the word deliberately, and with disgust--and ethnicity, the truth will finally be revealed.
