Everyone on this thread must be in neocon. The US gives billions of dollars to Israel every year. We're giving them weapons now. We absolutely.have a say in what they do.

Your Ivy League University presidents have made fools of themselves.

Incredibly, they are outdone by the moronic anonymous White House interns, so clueless they think the good ol' US of A has some kind of authority in the Middle East.

Fail all around - back to primary school to get a proper education.

The "debate" was more an example of why debate is absent from politics these days. It was a childish display, meant to capture one viral moment rather than provide a substantive examination of today's issues.

Trump is, unfortunately, absolutely right to sit on the sidelines and laugh at the theatrics. He is the master of this format. And we, the American public, get what we deserve because we don't demand more.

Iowa and New Hampshire used to be a proving ground for politicians; Iowa for organizing campaigns, New Hampshire for messaging. No more. That's all done on a national level now, online, at the same intellectual level as a TikTok short.

As the "debate" ended, candidates were given about 20 seconds for a closing statement (the organization running the debate apparently couldn't overrun its time slot because this wasn't considered an important or interesting event and the producer apparently forgot how to read a clock and plan ahead). It was a mess because the moderators started shouting at the candidates before they could even get a couple of sentences in.

They should have had them pre-film a seven-second TikTok closing dance move instead. That would have been far more representative of the format.

What's the difference between the Founders and the cowardly interns who work for biden? They signed their names to the documents they generated, for all to see, knowing if caught, they would be executed and all their possessions forfeited to the crown. If they are the leaders of tomorrow, this country is royally screwed.

The interns demanding a ceasefire is a great example of how the social media rabbit hole has deluded thinking, even in the White House. Social Media denizens don't seem to realize they are in an echo chamber and that what they read/watch on social media is not representative of what anyone but they think, personally. And, demanding a ceasefire implies these Social Media denizens believe that our government has authority over leaders in the Middle East. These “woke” folks aren’t “woke” at all.

The US vetoed a ceasefire resolution at the UN. We do call the shots over there. Good for those interns for standing up for what's right!

We, the US, nor the UN "call the shots" over another nation that has been attacked or the nation that attacked it. https://www.justsecurity.org/72177/the-un-charters-original-effect-on-state-sovereignty-and-the-use-of-force/ If the interns want peace they need to come up with a more viable strategy than to "demand" other nations to do what we say - wouldn't that make us a colonizer?

Obama third term clueless toxic leftists interns demand a cease fire. Where is Blow Job Bill when you need him to help keep the din down?

How was demanding a ceasefire toxic? Keeping the slaughtering going is what's toxic. Israel has killed more women and children and a few weeks then the US did during the Iraq war. There's too many warmongering neocons on this thread.

I’m not sure that Calvin Coolidge’s style of government and understanding of the role of the presidency has that much appeal to folks lumped together under the MAGA label.
