Please stop. No normal person would watch that crap. To have mature supposedly intelligent women throwing themselves like schoolgirls at a man who resembles a scarecrow with the intelligence of a turnip makes me ill. He sounds like he uses Forrest Gump as an intellectual model . It was torture sitting through the coming attractions, and i can't see myself or anybody who can sit up without aid enjoying this program.

As far as seeing somebody naked before knowing them is a bit like watching porn. Can't see it! Literally.

SBF is a crook as are his parents. In my opinion. I don't really think he has the intelligence to run an operation like that. Mommy and Daddy NIMBY progressives were behind it.

I think I like TV better from the days of when they depicted even married couples sleeping in double beds....WTF labia's on TV?

James Carville a "legendary Democratic strategist" and "political icon"? Spare us, Bari...

But, but, they are socially responsible people who hate white privileged people and demand social justice! So they must be okay and did nothing wrong when a weird child starts forking over millions. Must be honest because we are such good people!

Typical scummy grifters who claim to be woke!

When I first heard about bitcoins/crypto currency in the 1980s, I asked my broker what he knew about it? He said he'd call ne back. An hour later, he returned my call with an answer that basically made no sense; it's a form of currency that exists only in the imaginary space of the internet; you can't hold it, it's stored in internet accounts called blockchains, and its value is not backed by any government and varies by the minute. That was enough for me to lose any interest in it. I may not be the smartest investor in the world, but this looked like an obvious scam.

Sorry, may have been the early 2000s when I first heard about bitcoins.

Overall, a very weak week on TFP.

Disappointing to see there were no trans women among the “Golden Bachelor” contestants. Is Gerry transphobic?

Expand full comment

😂😂😂

Expand full comment

I don’t know if this is a joke or not. But it is not transphobic to only want to date biological women. No matter how much DEI is shoved down our throats, we will always get to be as selective as we want to be with dating and sex.

Maybe there will be a surprise at the end.

I listened to half of the Carville interview before deciding it was a waste of time. The man has become a caricature of himself. Moreover, he truly believes, and peddles to all who will listen, the culturally and politically corrosive canard that Donald Trump poses such a grave threat to our republic that he must be stopped at any cost. This way of thinking is why Trump is being sued by leftist prosecutors everywhere, and why our national election integrity is in peril.

Expand full comment

He has always been a caricature of aw shucks good ole boyism. Thanks for: 1) for using republic as opposed to "our democracy; and 2) recognizing the very real threat posed.

Well, this issue of TFP is an uplifting way to start the day.

I have a life and no desire to see old folks sucking down Viagra and looking for attention. The naked dating isn’t any way appealing either. Seems like beginners pornography.

Could the writers and producers please go back on strike?

Crypto King sleaze ball, here’s betting he gets prison at one of the Feds easygoing holding areas. He deserves time with Bubba but very high crime doesn’t rate the hard time. Yet have a nickel bag and 10-12 might be your gift.

I still don't get what is it about SBF that seduced so many people, including these writers. If he shows up with that messy hair the way he dresses looking like he just rolled out of bed, a normal person wouldn't hire him for a job. Yet, because he's "tech", and better yet, "crypto" all of a sudden that look is the sign of a genius. Someone you would give billions of dollars to manage. And someone whose sloppy look becomes something to analyze and dissect like a cult of personality. It's just shows and confirms again the people in all the institutions who supposed to know what they're doing, don't have a clue. They're morons.

And at the end of they day, it wasn't crypto that was his fraud. He ran a classic pyramid scheme, a tale as old as time. People just were willing to play as long as they were making bucks and thinking they'd get out richer before the other suckers lose theirs.

It has been reported that as the cops were at the door, literally, to take him into custody he was text arguing with mommy. He wanted to wear shorts. She insisted on long pants.

SBF was funneling US Ukrainian aid to several in Congress. Mostly Dems but a few Republicans. It's likely he will either get a slap on the wrist or be "Epsteined".

Expand full comment

You will never get the real, full story because too many Democrat politicians and a sprinkling of Republican politicians were involved.

As per usual.

Spot on. The most underreported part of this story is how SBF duped top VCs like Sequoia into losing billions. As usual with stories of capitalism gone amok, ESG and DIE were involved: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/sequoia-ftx-214million-disaster

I am waiting for a detailed piece on his parents and the role they played in all this, or at least whether and to what extent they were aware and what they did or did not do with that knowledge

Expand full comment

I think he was a front for them. Like Hunter is for his daddy.

Expand full comment

We already know, Michael, at least part of the role his parents "played in all this." They were were not only fully aware of his scam -- they demanded he bankroll them. (Their texts and emails have been exposed.) Two tenured Stanford law professors, both big Dem donors -- yeah, that fits. Yet the court granted Sammy bail and placed him in their custody pending trial...until (shocker!) it turned out he was continuing to commit crimes (trying to interfere with witnesses, etc.) while at Mom and Dad's. Not until then did the court revoke bail. If there's any justice, they'll all have adjoining cells.

Expand full comment

“If there’s any justice...”. Don’t hold your breath. The key words in whether or not someone will be credibly prosecuted: “major donor to the Democrat Party”.

He gets his creepy looks from his mom.

They have claimed ignorance, but, they were so called professors at Stanford, so they could be correct. Plus the normal, well he has social issues. But then look again at his parents.

Expand full comment

The parents received $10 million dollars of funds and $16.4 million dollars worth of property and then their memory failed. Their collective gray cells ability to go blank is amazing.

I imagine their memories as to what they said or saw would be as good as the ability of comey and garland to recollect
