When s/he applied to Columbia, s/he did so only “because it was in New York”. S/he DID NOT EVEN KNOW it was in the Ivy League. S/he didn’t even apply to ANY other schools because s/he was insufficiently interested. And THIS is the caliber of candidate Columbia has stooped to accepting??? Obviously they have, if said applicant is a member of a favored class.
Can you imagine if young white protestors said to the world that POC “don’t deserve to live” ?? Their hypocrisy is showing. Maybe now the average person will start to understand Social Justice Fundamentalism and its' hierarchy.....

The non-student protestors should be arrested, The student protestors who occupied buildings should be expelled. The professors should be charged as accessories and fired.
University administrators won't be taken seriously until they tell the protesters that after the second warning, they will be expelled - not suspended! Students at these elite universities want that graduation diploma very badly. Threaten them with loss of that, and they will be out of there quickly.
The only thing I wonder is how much of the administration’s feckless approach to antisemitism is due to their own politics and how much is due to cowardice.
If anyone wants to understand the genesis of all this madness I would recommend an Economist book of the year, “The Identity Trap: A Story of Ideas and Power in Our Time” by Yascha Mounk. The universities, not all, are complicit in spreading this rot far beyond their campus gates.
Personally, I think it is well past time for Congress to step in and start threatening loss of funding or government backed student loans and grants.
You start taking the money and they will start falling in line fast.
When students cannot get loans to go there or receive federal grants they will lose students and therefore revenue or they will have to suck it up and pay for it out of their endowments.
