I have found the attacks and criticisms of Ms. Weiss frustrating. For so many reasons. A compliment to Ms. Weiss, is that I think Ms. Weiss would do a great job explaining all the bias, and out of touchness of these folks. I could only scan the New Yorker article as all the stuff there is the same boring playbook.
I find Ms Weiss inspirational. If her American journey of success is not celebrated, what’s left?
It would be great if you allowed some of your listeners to ask a question on air as I can promise you most of your listeners are very well educated as well as very knowledgeable on almost any subject that you air.😎
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you just staying on point, and not letting these loud mouth children, because even if they are adult adults, they act like spoiled toddlers.
She is censoring the news to suit Trump. And she doesn't know the first thing about what it takes to produce quality journalism. TFP is right-coded click-bait.
You wouldn’t think that reading the comments! Tell that to the angry right wingers always comparing TFP to the NYT.
She has shown time and time again she is willing to publish stories that put Trump in a bad light. So I don’t believe for a second that that she is censoring her for for Trump at CBS.
Making a centrist publication will piss everyone off this day and age. And that’s for the best.
Bari Weiss must be overwhelmed with work and responsibilities right now so this is completely understandable. We will miss it because it was often the best interview of the week/month. Hopefully, when things settle down it will return. Best, as always!
Bari, it is sad to see your Honestly podcast paused. However, it is more than joyous that you were hired to tame the CBS News Neanderthals. CBS's tilted news began clear back during the Vietnam War coverage under W. Bronchitis (Cronkite). They got away with it, emboldening them to try and steal a Audi for the 60 Minutes Producer. At that point, being in business, I realized CBS News employees did not care about news, but only self-enrichment at the expense of others. The original Neandertals relied on their clubs. The CBS variety uses slickly written hit pieces and good camera angles. News should be the facts with no bias added. Sharyn Alfonsi and most of her other beligerant colleges should be fired. If they believe the cat crap, (Why cat Crap? It has no biological value, but to make your foot stink badly when you're in an important meeting. You stepped in it because they hid it just enough for it to be avoided.), they peddle will somehow make things better in their minds. Your new underlings have little of value, just as the original Neanderthals had to offer the way they are largely presenting themselves. Bari, you need to be as ruthless as they are, clean the house. Once the problem is eradicated honestly, Honestly will certainly be able to come back.
I recommend to all Bari Weiss' Ted Talk, one of the best twenty minutes in her wayback machine. It's a tour de force of common sense and courage. For the tepid applause alone, it's revealing and slightly hilarious. Thank you Bari! We will miss you here, but hear you there.
Bari, thank you. You have been a catalyst of change -- and a foundation of reason and civility. I was listening to Bono's book: Surrender. It occurs to me that you've become a Rock Star. You certainly are as a journalist and as an interviewer. In your spare time (ha, ha) plug in the headphones and enjoy. A bit of history, a bit of humility, a lot of humanity. I wish you could see the stadium full of cheering crowds - appreciating your work. Alas, news and debate.... not a medium of blind adoration. Hear our applause! (And keep having fun. Loved, Loved, Loved the election night coverage!)

Keep up the great work Ms. Weiss.

Keep the faith , I am with you 110%.
I’ve been wondering why there had been nothing for a month…….oh well, there are other interesting podcasts out there.
Sad face! But I do understand.
I will miss your Honestly podcast! Go ahead and get rid of those drama queens at CBS and you'll have time to get back to us!
Too busy turning America's mainstream media into a right-wing hellscape?
Busy dragging the mainstream media back to honest journalism and a meaningful balance.
Ya, that one! 🎉Go Bari. Restore civil discourse!!

Yes we noticed, and understand
But please come back soon
