The "students," most whom are likely illiterate, are just thugs. Many, if not most, will end up in prison, where they belong.

Will each of these students be made to listen to this poor teacher's experience and how very similarly they behaved to the Nazi supporters of WWII? I hope so.

Most of the students (?) are black and Hispanic, according to the article. I wonder what they really know about Gaza, Palestine, Israel, and Hamas. I am fairly sure that living a week under Hamas rule would "turn them around". Unfortunately they have been so brain-washed that any recitation of the facts won't matter anymore. If I may digress, I have often seen pictures of Nazi rallies in the run up to WW II. Almost always there was an enormous banner with the words "Die Juden sind unserer ungluck" (The Jews are our misfortune). Knowing the actual contribution to German society made by its Jewish citizens (read the "the Pity of it All" by Amos Elon) I never could understand how they could hold that opinion in light of the facts. And yet they did. That's what will happen to these hundreds of high school students, without any basis in fact they have become life long anti-Semites.

They know nothing; so many American students can't even tell you the 50 states in the Unites States or the names of the oceans on either side of the country etc etc etc. They know nothing about the Middle East but are being used and told that "their struggle is the same as Palestinians" who claim to be "people of color." Needless to say Palestinians are no more "people of color" than are Israelis. The whole thing is just another example of all or none thing, which children are vulnerable to; and using poor students, and hijacking their right to an education as a means to end. The end is that the Palestinians global vision of hate and bigotry gets to spread leading them closer to their goal of exterminating Jews. Hate, rage and angry are easy to sell, especially to children who feel dis-empowered and have no real sense of who they are or what they stand for. Frankly it's child abuse, plain and simple.

Patting themselves on the back because no one was injured…disingenuously ignoring the fact that the only reason no one was injured was because they were cowering in fear behind locked doors. 🤬

It's a shame because these teachers could probably teach in wealthy Westchester districts but choose NYC to help these kids rise up. It's a shame the liberals in charge value their own status over the lives of Jews.

Get out now!!

Now you know why public schools won't publish their curriculum in any detail. Because if they did that, they could be held accountable to teach that and not their activism agenda.

I doubt this anti-American agenda can be defused at the national level. Public schools are ultimately run at the local level, and the progressive areas of the country design their system to foment the hatred for America. I think were headed for two countries. One with American values. The other will have to tell their brainwashed citizens that they have to give up their land and property as reparations. Of course, that won't happen and the hypocrisy will be exposed.

I live in a "progressive" area, and it's amazing to see the hatred for the U.S. that my kids are learning in school. College educated people (esp on coasts) have always been generally anti-patriotic, but it reached a fever pitch by 2020. Then, everyone decided that to be "inclusive" meant to teach kids activism over other subjects. Our school is like a struggle session on Thanksgiving week, with apologies, land-back prayers, etc... The kids are depressed and anxious. I have a friend in education school in Washington, and the school is teaching that one of her jobs will be to create "agents of change." Well, progressive elites with all the power... what do YOU think will be the outcome of all this "change" and "social justice" and activism dumped into the minds of kids? You might not like what the kids will do in the future. But you all created this monster going on 2 or more decades. The chickens will come home to roost. Read about bloody youth-driven revolutions! It's not impossible here.

“The DOE has an obligation to prevent schools from becoming hostile environments for any and all minorities, including Jews."

How about "for any and all PEOPLE"?

That sounds logical and sensible ..but so did the attempt to shift BLM to All Lives Matter and that didn't go down well with the far left.

Looks like the D.O.E needs to be held responsible for the unsafe environment they have created. I believe many of the principles and teachers who have allowed this to go on should be fired and brought up on criminal charges.

No wonder school choice is popular and that many parents choose home schooling. Many intercity schools are unsafe and pro-Hamas protesters are miking things worse. Even if the school's don't educate kids they should at least keep them safe.

The students were taught this by someone, somewhere ... How much money has the school been gifted by Qatar? It's not as if their low income status is relevant. It's the same language at Harvard. Oddly, same funding.

What a joke! "We sent a letter to parents". The parents may not care and these kids certainly won't.

Expel them and don't permit re-entry into another school.

The only other options involve physical force and our society would not tolerate that.

School administrators just do not have sufficient tools to restrain students' behavior.

The tools they lack both start with B. Brains and backbone.

The students were carrying signs saying “free Palestine” and “free Sudan” as if Israel was responsible for both. In reality, Islamic terrorists are responsible for the misery in both places.

This simply highlights how many of the protesters there and elsewhere are totally ignorant of the facts and just enjoy participating in a cause where they can vent anger and exude self-righteousness. Unfortunately, it also shows how there appear to be no adults in charge…from this Bronx high school to the White House.

Eventually these "student" will make up execution squads similar to previous ones like in the French Revolution, Lenin's in Russia, Hitler's Germany, Mao's Red Guards. As Leonard Cohen said, " I've seen the future, brother: it is murder."

The good news is that we live in America. Execution squads will have to deal with an armed citizenry in many states.
