‘The floggings will continue until morale improves’.

This is similar to SodaStream. Company employed many Palestinians (about 600) and paid them decent wages in the West Bank. They worked side-by-side with jewish people. BDS said that was WRONG. Why? Because it was a Jewish company in the West Bank in what they said was an illegal settlement. Nevermind they were providing jobs and decent income to Palestinians. Nevermind they treated everyone as people. Nevermind the employees were happy. So, Sodastream had to close their factory, lay off the Palestinians and open it somewhere else.

BDS is not about helping the Palestinian people. It is about hurting the Jewish people and Israel.

BDS is the epitome of anti-Semitism and hate. BDS is a politically correct way of saying how much the person hates Jews.

I continue to recommend American Professor Batya Ungar-Sargon (available on YouTube) for perspective on the machinations of the financial elite wreaking havoc on and pilfering the lives of people across the globe. They are entirely mercenary and care nothing for the consequential blowback and devastation created by actions and decisions they present as moral but are in fact self-serving and further the aims of totalitarian finance.

The map is not the territory. I do not doubt the authors description of the actual on the ground reality and see the proof of his statements in the fact that his business has survived for the number of years it has. Ice cream. Again, we see totalitarian finance worm its way into every aspect of our daily lives while (at a profit) preening and magnifying itself from the heights of a false moral high ground.

Everyday Americans are pretty much always for the underdog so I mention Professor Ungar-Sargon because my first reaction to the irrational financial bludgeoning described by Mr. Zinger angers me and my ".. can't see the forest for the trees.." emotionality stops me from thinking in specifics. I must remind myself that there are real people doing valuable research on the cause and effect damage being done to the world by a handful of would be tyrants. If I'm willing to spend time on the platforms provided by subscription journalism I should also give some time to those actually doing depth reporting on the horror and the monsters now seeking to destroy our lives and livelihoods. There are good people out there. Find'em. Recommend'em. Accept the power!!

Got Constitution?

Resistance to the stupidity and disingenuity that is BDS is essential. Bravo!

For a company that built its image around peace and harmony, they have become hateful and divisive.

Why does B&J in VT think they know what is best for me in central TX? Rhetorical question, I know. The answer is "extreme arrogance".

And pride comes before the fall.

Avi - When I am next in Israel, if your business is restored, I will buy B&J. But I will never again buy the product in the United States.

This so blatantly wrong. Surely there's another side to this story.

Disappointing that this good willed, hard-working, Israeli citizen has been pushed out of work.

I'm a Zionist and I recognize that the BDS movement is about disestablishment of Israel. On the other hand I despise occupation. For a half-century I've wished that the Israeli government would commit to rapid movement to a two-state solution.

Celia I don’t think I would be running around Disney with a Maga Hat or a Trump flag etc in fact other than screaming with delight at some of the rides I would remain very quiet about everything even a military status in fact any form of patriotism at the Park and I know you will say this is America the land of the free and the home of the brave it doesn’t feel much like that anymore

I quit on B & J a long time ago. Hypocrites!

I have been boycotting B&J for a while. Does anyone else remember when that clueless idiot Ben Cohen was on a tour promoting "stamping out big money in politics"? I became aware of it when he was the opener for one of my favorite bands, Donna the Buffalo (I skipped that tour). It seemed like none of the good lefty dittoheads could even grasp that a guy who sold his company to a multinational for ~$140M was using his big money for politics!

I gotta ask - what's a lefty dittohead? A Leftist who enjoyed the Rush Limbaugh show?

I have one question before I make my main point. This quote is taken from an article in 2020 "The first phase of sustainably sourcing almonds from a Palestinian farmer cooperative has been realized, investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in the operation and growing its market base."

Now I have no issue with this. Ben & Jerry are not licensing their products to Israelis because of the Israeli government's positions, not because of the business itself. Yet they seem to do business with Palestinian suppliers. It is incredibly hypocritical. Because the Palestinian governments openly call for and reward the murder of Israelis. I would like to know if Ben & Jerry continue to buy and products from Palestinian suppliers. And in doing so, openly acknowledge their agreement with Palestinian governments' promoting cold blooded murder.

Next point.

Everything about Avi Zinger's operation suggests he runs the business in accordance with the values Ben & Jerry, and their eponymous company, once had. Emphasis on 'had'.

No more. They are led by a virulent anti-Semite. The sort who looks at the idea of people working together for a better future and says F*** that Sh**. These are Jews and we must make sure they are hated.

Whatever morality the company once claimed, its dead. The cancer has infested the business and with all due respect to Avi Zinger, he'll be better off without them. As will the rest of the world.
