I want to subscribe to The Washington Post, but every time I have—and I think I’ve given them a dozen second chances—they publish some bullshit. Actually, a lot of bullshit. Just like The New York Times, there are a few things I get nostalgic about that make me crawl back, but I just can’t get past that bullshit stench, so I cancel again. Now, I’ve seen a few short reels on Instagram that make it appear as though they may have found their spine and personality again. Am I wrong?

In my spare time, I’m the Director of Operations for a charity that takes shelter dogs and turns them into police K9s. Knox (pictured) went from a stray living off chicken nuggets and trash scraps at a truck stop to saving the lives of two little girls in about 5 months. He’s up for an award. Please vote for him. (PS: all the other dogs voted for Mamdani and laugh at Mamet doodles). https://www.americanhumane.org/hero-dog/knox/?fbclid=IwZnRzaATnaxhwZG9mBWZkaWQWUMQyqTyrY8TJOeH7Vr8Wl-iShy3

What would you all think about adding a section to this forum for articles / opinion pieces written by patrons? My writing aligns pretty well with the FP's philosophy (as far as I understand it), and I would love to have a place share my work with like-minded people.
